Quick snapshots of the character model I am making in Maya. Not much detail yet. Clothes will be covering most of the body eventually. This is also a quick and temporary skin texture. I will be doing the detail in Zbrush, which is an amazing tool.

This is a character model based off of this tutorial. There is still so much to do (texture, more shape, body, hair, clothes, etc…) none of this is even close to final. I used to be able to make my own characters from scratch or photographs but it’s been a while.

Icon

Here are some icons I am making for funssies. I have about 20 done and need about 20 more. Once they are completed I will put them in a icontainer for use with CandyBar. Some of them I’m not too happy with, but there is a lot to do, with so little time.

Screwdrivers

I created this blog to keep track of the things I make in Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya, etc… It’s mostly just for me. I would like anyone to comment on anything if there is something you do or don’t like about it. I will post everything I make regardless of if I like it.
So here is the first one, This was made with Maya 8 and rendered with Mental Ray. This is my first day with Maya in over a year so this is based on a very easy tutorial.
